"If you like carmalized onions, you love this recipe. It is absolutely delicious. I was looking for appetizer recipes that I could make ahead of time for a graduation party, and I found this. (Recipe says it keeps for 3 weeks in refrigerator.) Everyone raved about it at my party. I served it over a mound of room tempeture cream cheese that I flattened out slightly, and used Ritz crackers. It was wonderful!!

Thanks for the recipe. This will be a part of my recipe collection forever. In fact, I am going to make a triple batch right now...two neighbors asked me to make it for a party this weekend, I am going to surprise them with their own batch! (Don't get worried about the taste after you add vineger...I was because the taste was great before I added vinegar and caraway, and then when I added it, I thought I had ruined it. However, the vinegar taste cooks away, and your left with a wonderul blend of flavors!

A must try for onion lovers! Thanks for sharing!"
